Martech startup Mention Me has announced a raft of new senior hires.

Stuart Whyte joins as Chief Revenue Officer having previously been Executive Vice President EMEA & Apac at another martech business, Thunderhead.

Ben Henshall takes up the role of Data & Insights Analyst, joining from data driven analytics business Incline in Cape Town.

And Thibaut Behaghel becomes General Manager of the newly opened Paris office, having formerly been at WannaSpeak.

The appointments follow on from Mention Me’s Series A funding raise of $7million in 2018, with Eight Roads Ventures. This year it will be focusing on deepening new vertical sector expertise, expanding the French team and developing products.

Mention Me’s SaaS platform gives brands the tools to maximise new customer acquisition through referrals and word of mouth.

It works with over 400 clients including Feelunique, Seraphine, GHD and Missguided.

Andy Cockburn, CEO and joint founder of Mention Me, said: “These newly created roles will be central to shaping our business model and direction of the business; supported by our new products designed to tangibly enhance the customer journey further, quickly creating high numbers of advocates and driving loyalty and lifetime value.”

Founded as a bootstrapped two-man company in 2013, Mention Me now employs more than 90 people.
