Media Agency Starcom has promoted Claire Kula to Managing Partner

Formerly Business Director, Claire will now be responsible for leading strategy across the agency's clients, such as Lidl, AXA, Alcon and Novartis in the UK.

She will continue to oversee teams of communication planners and activation specialists, as well as developing accelerator projects to help sustain and win future clients.

Claire started her career in digital media 15 years ago, joining Publicis Media in 2008 as Digital Strategy Director for P&G, including being awarded ‘Digital Wonderperson’, the highest honour by the P&G Media client team.

During this time, she enhanced and fostered organic growth across key global clients including McCormick, Colart, Citigold and Citi Private Bank. Most recently, she has helped retain and grow Publicis Groupe’s Power of One proposition for AXA.

Claire will report to Managing Director of Starcom UK, Nadine Young who joined CEO Mark Howley at the helm in June.

She is also part of a community championing Starcom’s ‘Becoming’ initiative which helps rebuild confidence for new and returning parents at work, something she cares dearly about.

Claire Kula, Managing Partner, Starcom UK said: “I am thrilled to have been appointed to Managing Partner. I look forward to redefining the way we drive value and new commercial solutions for our clients. Having had two beautiful babies during my time with the company, I think I’m a great example of Starcom supporting and promoting parents into key leadership positions. I certainly have not been held back by having a young family, working a four-day week and I’m very excited about what this year will hold.“

Nadine Young, Managing Director, Starcom UK said: “Claire is a key member of the leadership team. Her passion and enthusiasm for digital and her strategic leadership skills have been crucial to us and our clients. This promotion is most deserved and we are certainly looking forward to seeing Starcom thrive with Claire on board this year.”
