Pimento network founder calls on future Prime Minister to use their marketing brain

The founder of the Pimento network has called upon the Prime Ministerial candidates to take heed from the country’s marketing industry. 

Stephen Knight, founder of the Pimento group of over 200 Independent consultants and agencies, said: “The vision brought by independent experts to creating clear messages should be at the heart of all marketing campaigns, whether that be for the launch of a new product by a multinational, or deciding who the next Prime Minister should be.”

This year’s Pimento Conference, taking place on September 19th, will discuss how best to deliver campaign messages. 

Pimento was founded in 2005 and is Europe’s leading Independent agency group, which creates “bespoke teams drawn from our independent network.” 

‘By the time of our conference, we will have a new Prime Minister in post, and we might even have a feel for whether the promises made in the campaigns have the slightest chance of coming to fruition,” Knight continued. 

The network founder said that honest delivery should be at the heart of the candidate’s campaigns, and even invited them to join the conference on the 19th, saying: “They are all very welcome to attend our conference to hear from a range of speakers who could make their lives easier and give them a degree of job security!”

The Pimento Conference takes place on 19 September and will be held at the Montcalm Marble Arch Hotel, London, and the main keynote will be delivered by Stephen Woodford, CEO of the Advertising Association. 

Other speakers who will be taking part include Barry Dudley, Partner at M&A specialist Green Square, Nick Band Founder of Pimento People, Lee Warren CEO of Invisible Advantage, AI Creative Guru’s Tiny Giant and a special guest.

Knight added: “Marketing, Advertising, PR and Coms agencies working together are far more powerful than individual agencies and businesses trying to be all things to all men or women.”
