London agency Yonder Media has been appointed by fintech company FreeAgent to handle its media planning and buying.

The agency, part of The Beyond Collective, will work with the cloud-based accounting software company on growing its brand and acquiring new customers through above-the-line campaigns aimed at accountants and small business owners.

FreeAgent, which appointed Yonder without a pitch, will continue to handle its creative in-house.

Ed Cox, founder and MD of Yonder, said: “We’re delighted to be working with FreeAgent, which is just the sort of thriving and entrepreneurial brand that will benefit most from our audience-first approach.”

The Edinburgh-based company, founded in 2007 by Ed Molyneux, Olly Headey and Roan Lavery, was purchased by Royal Bank of Scotland for £53m in 2018.

Yonder also works with the likes of Pilgrims Choice, Kerrygold and Vita Coco.
