Martin Randall Travel has appointed AKA to support its existing marketing strategy to promote its cultural tours through strategic media planning and buying.

Martin Randall Travel offers high-end, expert-led cultural tours and events in over fifty countries. Themes range from gardens and gastronomy to history, opera and music festivals, with a particular focus on art, architecture and archaeology.

The company chose AKA after seeing relevant experience promoting heritage, arts, culture, entertainment, leisure and tourism brands.

Amanda Lewis, Agency Director at AKA, said: "We are really excited to start working with Martin Randall Travel. A combination of our ability to target culturally engaged audiences and their unrivalled cultural tours means that this is a perfect partnership for AKA and we can’t wait to develop our relationship further."

Part of AKA’s remit is to engage a broader audience through a multi-channel campaign across Out of Home, Digital, Radio and Press.

Liz Brown, Communications Manager at Martin Randall Travel, added: "As the leading cultural travel company, we feel that AKA’s experience in the heritage and arts sector will help introduce a broader audience to Martin Randall Travel."

The first campaign launched at the end of January with further activity planned for later in the year.
