Unlimited Group make Lee Gibbons Managing Director for sports offering

Unlimited, the science-based agency group, has appointed Lee Gibbons to Managing Director of Unlimited’s Integrated Sports offering.

Gibbons will be responsible for driving growth across sports and entertainment for Unlimited, leveraging existing agency capabilities and the strategic partnership with Integrity 9, a sports sponsorship and entertainment agency based in the U.S. 

Unlimited CEO, Tim Hassett, comments: “This is a natural step in the evolution of Unlimited’s sports offering and one that is underpinned by our commitment to provide clients with a competitive edge. 

“The unique blend of our existing brand and sponsorship activation capabilities combined with Lee’s deep sport expertise and the strategic relationship with Integrity 9 in the U.S, means we are perfectly placed to provide brands and rights holders with world-class marketing solutions.” 

Prior to joining Unlimited, Lee’s experience includes IMG Consulting where he advised blue chip clients on their activation of the Torino 2006 and Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. 

He then spent eight years as Senior Director of adidas, latterly responsible for Sports Marketing in the UK and Ireland, after leading the brand’s London 2012 Olympic sponsorship. 

More recently he assumed the role of Commercial Director of Northampton Saints growing revenues more than the three previous seasons combined across area including sponsorship, hospitality and retail before joining Unlimited.
