The Guardian's Hamish Nicklin takes senior role at Dentsu Aegis

Hamish Nicklin has been appointed Executive Director – Media for UK and Ireland at Dentsu Aegis Network.

Nicklin will be responsible for leading the commercial growth of the group’s Media line of business.

His role will include overseeing the development of the agency brands that make up the Media line of business - Amplifi, Carat, dentsu X, iProspect, and Vizeum - with their respective leadership.

Nicklin joins the business from The Guardian News & Media, where he played a "pivotal role" during three and a half years as Chief Revenue Officer. He has also held senior roles at AOL and Google.

Nicklin will report into Euan Jarvie, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network UK & Ireland, and Peter Huijboom, Global CEO Dentsu Media & Global Clients
